Have you been thinking of trying a monthly subscription box, but feel overwhelmed by all the options? Here are 12 monthly subscription boxes for women that I have on my wishlist!
I kinda had this internal battle about monthly subscription boxes for the longest. On the one hand, they seem like so much fun! Like a mini-Christmas morning once a month. Only, it’s with a mailbox instead of a Christmas tree. Ha. But on the other hand, it feels a little frivolous to spend so much on my own personal mini-Christmas each month.
But I had a revelation. Subscription boxes aren’t just little presents to yourself. They’re actually a really convenient way to try new products and brands without having to go out and search for them.
I realized this because this is how I use Stitch Fix . I love Stitch Fix for finding new brands or trying new clothes without having to go to the shopping mall! And even if I end up not buying anything and have to pay the $20 styling fee, I honestly feel it’s worth it. If I spent an afternoon at the mall, I would be guaranteed to spend at least $20 just on other random junk I find but don’t need or at a Starbucks pitstop!
Typical subscription boxes are slightly different than Stitch Fix in that you do not get to return the products. So there is a little bit of risk. But that’s the trade-off for getting to have new products selected for you and delivered to your door.
Another fun thing about subscription boxes is that they can make really great gifts! There are seriously so many kinds, you are bound to find just the right one. I’ve even seen some very specific and unique subscription boxes like the Accio! box (a Harry Potter themed subscription box), Jerky Snob (a monthly subscription of premium jerkies), and Blockhead Box (a subscription box just for bully breed and heavy chewer dogs).
