Live Your Bucket List
A 'Bucket List' is a list of things you want to do before you 'kick the bucket'. And when we think of what we should have on our bucket list, we often think of things like visiting faraway places, learning a new language, and running a marathon.
But the number one thing on my bucket list is to build a life that is full of joy each and every day. Even the mundane ones when I'm not skydiving, swimming in the world's largest swimming pool, speaking fluent Mandarin, or completing the New York Marathon.
So I do what I can to streamline my To-Do List so that I have more time to live my Bucket List each and every day.
For me, building a life that brings me joy means I feel good about myself inside and out, I am able to nourish and love my family and friends.
Effortless Style -- I've shared many times before that wearing an outfit I feel great makes a huge impact in how I feel throughout the day. I work on intentionally streamlining my wardrobe so I can effortlessly feel stylish on a daily basis.
Eating Well -- Food is such a big part of our lives, and it can bring about so many emotions. I want those emotions to be positive and healthy for me and my family.
Feeding Creativity -- Creativity manifests itself differently in each person, but we all have some. Even the most self-proclaimed un-creative person has some creativity living inside them. And the more we feed it, the more it grows and brings us joy.
Homemaking -- Homemaking is the fun counterpart to the drudgery of housekeeping. I'm no pro designer and I'm certainly no Marie Kondo. But I do love sharing easy, budget friendly ways to make a home feel warm, inviting, and welcoming.
Personal Growth & Self Care -- We hear the adage "You can't pour from an empty cup" quite frequently nowadays. And it's because it's true. Taking care of your self is essential to living a joyful life.
Mom Life -- This one I put under both 'have-to-do' and 'want-to-do'. Because let's face it. As wonderful and fulfilling and magical motherhood is, it's not always easy. <3
